This is the foreclosed property that we made a successful bid for. We are thinking about renovating this condo. Today, I want to write about renovation for kitchen in this property. Here is a previous kitchen.
It looks miserable and hard to reuse this, so we decided to replace this for a new kitchen. Not only replacing this old kitchen for a new one, but also we change layout of it. The previous layout was one wall kitchen. This layout is good for small floor size like this condo (floor size: 63meters square = 678 Sqft), but we change it to a peninsula layout. This is a previous floor plan of this condo.
Most homeowners desire an island layout however this condo doesn’t have enough floor space for it. An island layout has circulation on four sides but peninsula has three. A peninsula layout creates extra space for work and storage. Unlike one wall kitchen, you can hang out with your family and friends while you cook. New floor plan with peninsula kitchen looks like this.
For this condo, we think a peninsula kitchen is best choice because you don’t want to compromise space for kitchen but your kitchen still has island looks.
